We’re Hiring an Event Sales Manager
Railtown Catering is looking for a confident, relationship-driven, industry-connected and highly organized Event Sales Manager to join our Event Sales team. This role can be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s experience and availability.

As an Event Sales Manager, you will lead the full sales cycle — responding to inquiries, developing customized menus and proposals, coordinating event details, and working closely with our operations and kitchen teams to ensure events are seamless and successful.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, guiding clients through the sales process• Conduct sales calls, meetings, and venue visits• Develop customized menus and proposals for weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations• Build strong, long-term client relationships that align with Railtown’s standards and goals• Coordinate rentals, décor, and event logistics with internal operations and vendor partners• Prepare and manage contracts, invoices, and post-event billing• Support onsite event setup and execution as required• Maintain accurate records within catering software and assist with system updates• Collaborate with the sales team on signage, labels, and marketing materials as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• 2–3 years of catering or event industry experience• Strong customer service skills and a polished, professional communication style• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills• Confidence working independently and as part of a collaborative team• Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and event management software• A valid BC driver’s license is an asset, but not required
Role Details:
• Part Time – Full-time position• Primarily office-based with occasional onsite event support• Part Time Compensation: established based on availability • Full Time Compensation: 50K Base + Commission (ranges from 10-20k)
