Introducing Alexa, our dedicated Event Sales Manager, whose journey into the world of hospitality commenced amidst the sun-kissed landscapes of Los Angeles, California, before finding her true calling in the vibrant city of Vancouver.
From her early years, Alexa demonstrated a natural flair for bringing people together and orchestrating unforgettable gatherings. This innate talent laid the foundation for her career in event planning and hospitality, a path she embarked upon while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Arizona. Here, she volunteered to organize events for various student clubs and organizations, igniting her passion for the industry.
Upon graduation, embarked on a journey that led her to roles as a Reservations Manager at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar and as an Event Planner with DreamGroup Productions. In these positions, she honed her skills, mastering the delicate art of blending creativity with meticulous planning.
Now, with nine years of immersive experience under her belt, Alexa stands as a seasoned professional in her field. Her portfolio boasts a diverse array of projects, from intimate gatherings to grandiose galas, each reflecting her unwavering commitment to excellence.
What drives Alexa’s passion for her craft? It is the sheer joy of transforming dreams into tangible realities, whether orchestrating a corporate conference, a dream wedding, or a community fundraiser. Alexa’s illustrious career has seen her make notable contributions to establishments such as Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, L’Abattoir, and through contract work planning branding events for prestigious entities like MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, and TSN (The Grey Cup).
Outside of her demanding role, Alexa finds solace in time shared with her family. With her husband, almost three-year-old son and a cherished feline companion, she cherishes every moment spent creating memories with her loved ones.
