After a two-year hiatus, we’re bringing our perennially sold-out Saturday Tailgate Barbecues back to our original Railtown Cafe location (397 Railway Street) on August 18 and 25 from 4 to 9 p.m.
Railtown Chefs and Co-Owners Dan Olson and Tyler Day will fire up their custom-built, 12-foot smoker/barbecue barrel to heap plates high with mouthwatering, slow-smoked brisket and pork shoulder and beer-brined chicken and brats, as well as a choice of made-from-scratch sides.
We’ll also be featuring rotating selection of local craft beers on tap, house-made Sangria and Lynchburg Lemonade, as well as wines available by the glass and bottle and Happy Hour specials featured from 4 to 6 p.m. on both days.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite for $29 per person ($19 vegetarian) plus tax. All tickets purchased online in advance include a complimentary drink voucher (up to $6 value).
Tickets are available online until 11:30 p.m. the night before each event, after which tickets are available onsite. Tickets are final sale and nonrefundable.
